i got mine off gumtree.com and it cost £180 was all brand new in the packaging in the box. I got the pushchair and the double seat. Had to buy the rain cover seperatly but still a bargain, and i wanted it for 2 toddler so didnt need the cocoon anyway.

mazzerella , Can you tell me if that was a link from gumtree or was it from a private seller ? And if it was a link can you let me know what that was please ? It sounds like a really great bargain .

i just went to gumtree.com, the london site, it was a private seller but there was loads on for around the same price.
I used my p & t recently as newborn and toddler without the cocoon and i just pu some nice soft blankets in the bottom and my neice was lovely and snug in the bottom.
If i was having another baby using it all the time in baby mode i prob would buy the cocoon.

just had a quick look on gumtree and there is none as cheap as i got mine at the minute, but srill some cheaper than many shops.

Celery · 02/11/2006 14:14

I'm the other way around - I hated the newborn/toddler mode, but love it for two toddlers.

I got in touch with one the Gumtree ones for £180, we got right down to discussing the day of him bringing it (he offered to deliver), then I recapped the details, and said 'right, so.... and its £180'. And he said no , it was £260

Hi - I've just sold mine on ebay and it was a bunfight at the end - we had over 100 watchers which is ridiculous. If you can stand the fast bidding you can try this way though. We didn't have the cocoon but did have two of their cosy fleece lined sleeping bags and it worked really well as a baby cosy - thick and able to be zipped up or just folded back if you went into a cafe or such where it was hot.

The man delivered mine off gumtree too. He delivered mine to my sister in london and she posted it o me as im other end of country. £180 and gave him £10 to cover his petrol costs which he didnt ask for just gave him. I was a bit worried as thought it was too good to be true but when it arrived it was 2006 e3 model and brand new was well chuffed!
