Anyone know the cut off for parental learning allowance and adult dependants grant?

I've had my finance through for next year and not been given either ( currently get both) . Didn't expect adult dependants as dh income increased between the two tax years but surprised at 15000 being too much for parental learning allowance. I've queried it but don't trust them to be right!

The cut off is something like £8000, far too low in my opinion.

We got it last year on 12000( 4 children

Currently my money is the same as a single 18 year old. Though the grant/loan proportions are better for me.

Student union put it about 14000 for my circumstances so basically I'm screwed.
Not sure how we can manage for me to carry on.
