i'm desperate to find out if they are better than the originals as well. I liked the tots originals as they were so thin and stretchy but found that the binding on the legs tended to wick, so I'm hoping they have overcome that problem. Don't want to buy one though until someone has said they are really good. Surely more of an obsessed nappy lover has tried one already?

I have been tempted by the lovely new prints and have ordered 2, but they wont be in stock til mid-november. Like you i found the old ones wicked at the leg bindings, and found motherease much better. Hope i havent wasted my money. will let you know....

please do let me know. If they don't wick at the legs I will definately buy some.

I'm sorry to say that my sil has one and it leaks just as bad as the old ones
Its a real shame as they look great.

littlepiggie · 02/11/2006 20:45

Thanks so much Alfiesmum - i have just emailed kittykins and asked them to change my order and swap the tots for motherease.

alfiesmum · 02/11/2006 21:29

no problem, i'm glad my sil tested them first and not me!

tutu100 · 02/11/2006 21:30

It's a shame because I was really looking forwards to them as I hoped that with the new design they would have sorted out the wicking problem. Do they still use the same binding on the new ones then?

alfiesmum · 02/11/2006 21:36

yes same binding, but they have made the leg gussets (sp?) bigger. They are more like a motherease rikki now.

tutu100 · 02/11/2006 21:38

well thats just saved me £8. Thanks. Any one reccomend a wrap for prefold or pad folded terries. MOtherease rikki doesn't really suit my son and we've tried the obvious like cotton bottoms and bambino mio. They both leaked.

Sorry this is such an old thread but I've been looking out for threads on the new Tots wraps as we're waiting for our stock to come in so we can trial them!

Anyway, just a thought on the prefold wraps - try eenee wraps for Weenee pads as they have a sort of gusset thing in the middle to hold the weenee pad in place.

I'm wanting to design our own prefold wrap actually so if anyone has any design thoughts let me know! emma at makesachange dot co dot uk

makes a change, i feel that my perfect wrap would be made from tots bots pul, in the shape of a tots bots original wrap, but with the shape fastening of a cotton bottoms wrap and the binding of a motherease wrap. Is this the type of opinion you want? If you could invent that or something comfortable and leak proof that doesn't leave marks on ds's legs I'd buy several!
