Away from my 17 month old for 3 nights

Hello, I am a newly single mum, and my ex oh is taking our 17 month old ds to his family for 3 nights. I trust that he will be looked after well (ds not ex oh!) and ex oh is reasonably hands on, but I am a bit worried about whether it's a good idea or not. On the one hand I am SO looking forward to the break (my first ever proper break since he was born) but on the other I wonder if ds is going to be lost without his mummy. Although he will be with his daddy I suppose.
Do you think 3 nights away is too long? He has been away from me for one night before and was fine. And does go to nursery 4 times a week already and is happy there.

Let him go.

My dd2 is 22 months and I need a break. I've had one night away from her since she was born. Youwill miss him but use the time to rest/see friends/be you again.

If you are confident that he will happy and safe, I'd let him go.

I think it will be fine op! You will get a much deserved break (am jealous), ex gets to spend time with your baby and your baby will be spoilt rotten by your ex's family. Everyone's a winner!

Let him go. Try and organise a night out or a spa or shopping day to keep you occupied so aren't sat at home wondering how he is
