6 month old bath support

My dd is still in her baby bath at 6 months..... I know I've pushed it too long but it was waist height but really she is far far too big for it.
Our bath is pretty deep but I feel overwhelmed at the bath supports. She can sit up now but is a little wobbly (not sure how long this wobbly stage lasts for??)
I've seen the mothercare aquapod which seems good, and more access to her lady bits rather than traditional seats but it is £30.
Or would I be just as fine with a £5 bath mat ans she'll be sitting up unwobbly in a month?
Or those big giant sponges?

Basically what do you recommend for the 6 months upwards bathing stage

Tia! X

Ps sink was a no go

We had a brilliant cheapo eBay inflatable baby bath, but I think we probably moved our boy to the big bath around 6 months. We had a foam thing too but it was a bit pointless.

I don't think you'll get much more use of a sponge bath liner. I used a seat like this.

I have a support which is a rectangular frame with towelling material. Sorry I've not described it very well. I think it was from mothercare. Anyway, we've used it since birth and DS is 8.5 mo and although he can sit up and usually does he sometimes likes to lie down so we are still using it.

We have the same seat as justmuddling DD loves it. Just wash down below when we get her out.

All three of ours were stable enough very fast given you will be right next to her.

I just use a bath mat. Seven month old DS lays on it in about two inches of bath water in the big bath. We do a bit of sitting at the start but he is so wobbly! He's happy lying down. He outgrew the massive sponge thing at about four months (big baby!).

I always feel like I've missed something with all these seats and everything. Why don't people just put bigger babies in the bath?

honey I use a support for DD as I have a bad back and so struggle to bend over and support her for the 20 minutes she's in there. Sitting next to bath and playing is fine, but supporting her is more strenuous.

We used the baby bath until DS was 3. Put it in the big bath and filled it to the brim. He loved it.

That makes sense rockshow.

We have a bath mat on the bath and 7 month DS lies in a couple of inches of water or sits up (I hold him steady with one hand and wash with the other, he can sit for ages but tends to lunge at the at the taps!). But mainly we take turns to bath him with us. I'll go in the bath and DH brings him in with me then puts him to bed, then vice versa. Much easier. And lovely and fun!
