How often does your breastfed baby poop?

My daughter is almost 10 weeks old and for the last month she poops every few days. I know breast milk is so nutritious so there is less waste. I'm making sure I'm eating healthy.. Is anyone else's baby the same?

Thanks??

As long as when she goes it isn't hard then it's normal - breastfed babies can vary from a little after every feed up to every week! My dd used to be every 3 days but now weaning seems to be every day (fruit&veg overkill probably ...)

My first born breastfed baby pooed all the time, every day, big poonamis that exploded everywhere. My second poos maybe one big one every 2/3 days, with tiny skid mark ones in-between :) Apparently, they can go up to a week (?!) without pooing and that's ok, as long as it's not hard when it does come out.

Mine pooed once a week for quite a while, and when it happened, it was a rather messy affair...

DD did one at every feed (sigh)

Mine pood 5-6 times a day for the first 4-5 months. Right colour and consistency iirc. They're all different.

Once a week here, until weaning

Missmonkeypenny · 02/04/2015 13:41

Once every 2-3 days here!

Dc1 went every feed, dc2s record was 12 day.

Eating well will make you feel better, which is good but will have very little effect on your bm Smile

It's good to hear all babies are different! Phew! Thank you :)
