Hi, I made a throw away account because my daughter knows my user name.
I am looking for advice and a general warning to others, if your child watches youtubers please please please check out their other social media accounts before letting your child watch them. My daughter is obsessed with youtubers mainly Zoëlla and friends, she started watching one of Zoë's friends Gabby (velvetgh0st) a while ago and I checked out her videos and they seemed fine, but her other social media accounts, Jesus christ! It's scary considering how much of a large following she has! She has called people whores, sends offensive tweets then deletes them, uploads photos of her self harm scars on snapchat, tweets saying she hasn't eaten all day then says she lost 8 stone by drinking nothing but orange juice! I'm really worried about how to talk to my daughter about how this behaviour isn't normal, because she looks up to this girl, any idea where to start?
