Where to go for long weekend, in May/June with 6/7month old.

Just that really. It's my DH birthday and I want to go away somewhere just the three of us. I'm happy to go abroad (though need to get passport sorted) but want to make sure it's something manageable with the 6/7month old baby. I am breastfeeding but will probably blw by that stage. She quite happily goes in a sling so wouldn't necessarily and probably wouldn't want to take the pushchair. We are going away to Wales over Easter so ideally somewhere a bit more exciting! Don't really want to do car hire as worried re baby seat etc. we are based in the east of England and could fly from here or Luton or London possibly. Could also do the Eurostar I suppose but not sure in Paris is ideal. Ok, so after typing that I've realised I'm probably searching for the impossible!

Would Amsterdam work? I can fly there easily I think

I think Paris or Amsterdam would be great with a baby that age they are so transportable.

Really you could go most places with a baby that age - they just tag along and do what you do. I suppose the least good holidays would be somewhere really hot that involves mostly lying in the sun on the beach as that's not going to happen with a baby. But most other holidays are perfectly doable with a baby. And you can take your own car seat free of charge on most airlines. Just book where you fancy and have fun Smile
