Exersaucer or fp jumperoo?

So I wasn't going to buy one of these but now my baby is almost 6 months I've decided to bite the bullet and spend some money on one of these. They are quite expensive so I want to make sure I get one which is most popular the exesaucer perhaps look more attractive but are the Fisher-Price ones better? Also how old will my baby be when she grows out of this I don't want it to be a fad like a Bumbo and only last a few months!

We had a jumperoo and it was a lifesaver! Kept DS occupied for a few minutes so I could crack on with tidying, meal prep etc. He was in it from about 4 months and he'd probably grown out of it by about 8/9 months so not long; I would suggest getting a second hand one or borrowing one if you can. Ours was £39 on eBay and we've since lent it to a friend who had a baby six months after me. If you do buy new you can always flog it after and they do fetch good money if they're in good condition.

My 6month has a jumperoo and loves it. As above said very handy for popping them in for a few minutes while you doing something. Since we got it about a month ago she seems to have really built up the strengh in her legs and she only really goes in once a day.
They defo dont last long tho as i think she will soon prefer a walker so she can actually explore.

We didn't have space for one and got one of the bouncers that clips to the doorframe instead. It was amazing, but like with other posters he lost interest once he was on the move at about ten months. If you're worried about cost though this might be a good option as they are only about £20.

Couldn't recommend anything we've bought for dd more than the Jumperoo. By far the best money we've spent. It's worth at least double, and we've been as thrifty as possible. She absolutely loves it and it's bought me hours of 'me' time to have a cuppaGrin

We have a jumperoo here too. DD is 9 months and still using it.
I just looked around online second hand ads and got it for about a third of the price.
I would recommend trying her in one of those types of bouncer though before you buy as dniece just screamed the place down when put into it.

DS LOVES his jumperoo! He was a very Velcro baby and the jumperoo was one of the first things that he'd happily play with/in on his own. It is an absolute life saver for me. We got ours on eBay for £40, it is was spotless and works like new, we'll hold on to it for baby number 2 then pass it on so will get loads of use for the money. I really couldn't recommend one enough. Also the smiles and giggles and screeches of joy are brilliant.
