Hi
I need some website recommendations for my kids- boys or 7 and 9.
My seven yr old is sporty...a football game that makes him spell or do sums?? (Is that too much to ask?!)
The 9 year old is very screen-orientated so I´d like to channel this into getting him to play games that will help with maths/spelling/creative thinking.
He´s heavily into Minecraft at the moment which I find hugely preferable to everything he wanted to play previously which generally involved mass destruction and violence (unfortunately many classmates are already playing games rated 18, etc so it´s a constant battle being the "strict" parents.)
We live overseas and I´d like to improve their English levels - at times grammar, spelling, etc make me cringe!
So anyway...looking for educational but GOOD. I only seem to find the very amateur ones with crappy graphics that hold their attention for about 2 minutes so any really COOL game recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

My DS is 6.5 and likes Monkey Drive for maths games.

You could also try Nessy. It is a reading & spelling based site. My DS really likes it as he can earn "nuggets" for doing well at the reading/spelling games and then they can trade in those nuggets to play other games that are just fun. The site says it is for dyslexics but my DS's school uses this site for all the kids.

Hope that helps!
