Can anyone recommend me a kids/childrens internet safety software package - preferably free so dodgy/adult websites couldn't be accessed? Thank you!

I'm bumping this because I am clueless... but it is very important.
Particulary as I have found out that friends of my 10y.o ds have been looking at 'sex videos'.... Shock! I know if you have Apple they have a setting you can use but I don't know how effective this is. I would also say it depends on the age of your child and talk openly to your DCs about it. Seems to work with DS1 (not sure it will with dTs though!). We have been recommended allowing the kids NO internet access but I don't want to do that.

Don't know but could you ask a teacher at school for advice.
