Evening AWAKENESS

My daughter is only 6 sees but i'm trying to get her into routine as soon as possible - she feeds 4 hourly and that's fine and she wakes once in the evening between 2-3am for an hour and then up again between 6-7am...
She has her last feed 10-11pm however I'd like to put her down to bed earlier at around 7pm so I can start to separate my evenings with waking her up for the feed just before I go to bed however she's perfectly fine and happy during the day however gets a bit a restless before 6pm feed but then settles whilst feeding and winding but then screams for an hour or two and is VERY awake...
I do struggle with keeping her awake during the day as if she wants to sleep she'll sleep - it's very hard to entertain a baby plus we're out so the car and/or pram instantly sends her off....
I don't think it's colic or trapped wind...
Is there anything else it could be or anything else I can do to assist?

Roll on lighter evenings so I feel like I'm getting an evening :)

Don't try and keep her awake during the day. At this age (6 weeks?? not months I assume?) they really do sleep a lot so sleep during the day won't "take away" from sleep at night. Sleep begets sleep and the crying could be over tiredness. It's really hard to set up a routine at this age (impossible dare i say??).

Is there a particular reason you are trying to keep her awake in the day?

At that age I just kept mine downstairs until I went up to bed, have a read up on the 4th trimester.
