Just wondering when you got your first giggle?

Loads of smiles from 6 weeks but we got the first proper giggle at about 10 weeks. A few 'haaaa' type noises from about 9 weeks when smiling but a proper chuckle at 10.

8 weeks he gave his first proper laugh, I know because I filmed it and it's dated :)

RumAppleGinger · 16/03/2015 00:26

At around the three month mark. Managed to film it. Best. Sound. Ever.

squizita · 16/03/2015 19:38

Between 3 and 4 months. I rushed in as I thought she was crying. She was laughing at my husband pulling faces!Grin

12 weeks. We were on holiday and DH was being silly with her at bath time. We'd had laughs but this was the first longer chortle. Fantastic sound.

Hopeful83 · 17/03/2015 19:00

15 weeks

Fail proof way to make a little baby laugh

Pretend to sneeze in a theatrical fashion-think Mrs Poppov from Rentaghost if you're old enough (prob not if you've got a baby Hmm)..

Aaa aaaa aaA

AaA aaahh aah

Aah aaaa. AAAH ChoooOoo!

With a little bit of a head bang at the end..Smile

BanKimoon · 17/03/2015 19:08

Waaaay late - probably nearer 6 months. I was a bit worried and sad about it but he giggles like mad now (18 months) and chatters away!

Arkkorox · 17/03/2015 19:10

BanKimoon thank god you posted that cause dd is 14 weeks and hadn't giggled yet lol

BanKimoon · 17/03/2015 19:21

Nope, he was awful! Smiled plenty then eventually made an odd 'hur hur' sound but he was far far later than his peers to do a proper giggle. Clearly just saving himself for the really good stuff...

Mumsnot plenty of us old timers about with babies! Grin
