6mo making regurgitating noises?

6.5mo has recently started making a regurgitating noise, which almost sounds like he's choking a bit. It sounds like he's bringing up liquid, but nothing ever comes out of his mouth.

Other times he possets normally like he's done since birth, with just a bit of milk coming up, but this regurgitation is different.

It looks like it's a bit distressing for him but he gets over it after about 30 seconds. He's EBF and has been eating all sorts of bits and bobs over the last few weeks.

Has this suddenly started happening to anyone else's DC at this age?

Like a sick burp?

Er, not sure... Sounds like liquid is coming up and he is then swallowing it. Several times.

Both of mine has something similar, like they've been sick but it's not come out then swallowed it and it makes their eyes water, cough etc
As far as I know it's because their muscles aren't developed well at the top of their throat so things come back up easily.

Yes that sounds very similar to DS! What you've said makes sense and is reassuring - thanks.
