And now I'm sat in a coffee shop trying not to cry :(

I know I'm being silly, the nursery was lovely, the kids were really happy and well looked after and DS did excited kicky legs and smiles the whole time we were there but I don't want somebody else to look after my PFB baby

Stupid work. I'm so envious of people that can be stay at home parents

Don't worry, it will all be fine. He'll have a whale of a time, and your time together will be all the more precious and appreciated.

DS started nursery at 16 weeks, I like you was a little reserved and sad about it all, but DS loves nursery now at 7mo he plays and chatters away, they've had valuable advice on weaning and teething and I get on really well with his key worker who is a star.

Try not to beat yourself up about it, easier said than done I know Thanks

I have just done the same and I'm finding the settling in sessions really hard. Ds is a little older and I wish I had done it earlier.

My dd is just 1 and I've been made redundant. My biggest fear is not paying the mortgage, it's the prospect of having to take her out of the cm who she loves if I can't get another suitable job.

She loves it so much and has such a great time there. I see her going as a treat, not having to be bored while mummy does housework. Wall to wall fun at the cm!

Thanks everyone, and Little, sorry to hear that.

He's 7 months but will be 8 & 1/2 months when he starts his settling in and then 9 months full time, I'm happy I've had this long with him but wish it could be just that bit more :(

I'm moving house next weekend and due on so more stressed/emotional than usual!
