3 week long growth spurt!!! Its that even possible!?

Is this possible? I've just realised that this 'spurt' has been spurting for almost 3 weeks. Or does it mean that there's some other reason behind the clingy, non stop feeding, grumpy child before me! Will it ever end!? Aaaaarrgggh!

How old?

Greenstone · 13/03/2015 08:33

How old is she?.babies are often just grumpy and hard work until at least 3 months old. My two were anyway. Try not to over analyse growth spurts (I know it's hard not to) and just do whatever you can to survive!

Shes almost 9 weeks, so if it's not a spurt, will she just settle down after a while? She's gone from being quite chilled to fussy. At least if it is a spurt i know there's an end in sight! :-(

I was a week and a bit over, so we'd be past 8-9 week spurt by now.

Its mad to think this phase will end. I feel that there will always be a baby hanging off me!

If she was very chilled out then it could be that she's just waking up a bit more and now you're seeing her personality coming through! If she's clingy get a sling and then at least you can get on with things while she still gets mummy cuddles.

No such things as 'growth spurts' nor 'wonder weeks' as your baby is proving. They just grow.
