Wambamboo size2

Need some help from you Wambamboo experts. I have just bought some Wambamboo size 2 nappies. They feel lovely and look adorable, but I have just put one on my DS and I feel that the elastic around the legs doesn't come up far enough at the back - the nappy seems a bit loose where the elastic ends, and I'm worried it will leak. I usually use MEOS and they are a very neat fit around the legs. DS is about 17 pounds, but has a very flat bum (sorry pet). So do I just have to wait until he grows into them. I really want them to work for us.

Have you tried having the tabs wrapping round just above his hips then pull the front up high & fold it over a bit - the nappy will end up as slim as a disposable. HTH

Hi Joannie - I would have thought that as long as you have a decent fitting wrap you shouldn't get any leaks. It might just be a case of "suck it and see" . I love Wambamboos - wish I'd found them ages ago as I've now got so many nappies I can't justify buying any more so only have the one (it's my favourite though!)

ds is about 18 lb, i just pull the front right up and folt it over, vvvvv slim, i love them.

Good girl LRWG (what do your initials stand for?)

Yup, as the others have said... get the back in the right place, pull the front up snug as far as you can, fold it over, then nippa (no easy way to get it so snug with the velcro ones).

Thanks everyone. Well we had it on last night and it really is superb on pee - it lasted about 12hours (and probably could have went longer), no nappy lasts that long on my supersoaker DS. He didn't poo though so I haven't been able to road test it on that front. I also found that when I changed his nappy this morning that it didn't smell as strong as it does most mornings, not sure if it has anything to do with the Wambamboo but he definately was fresher.

I'll try folding it a bit higher over his hips and pulling it up more at the front to see if that makes it neater round the legs. They do feel lovely and I am determined to make them work. I have even made some bamboo boosters for my other nappies, I just love the stuff

Errrr - Little Red Woolie Gloves DH's nickname for me. Well it was until I became pregnant, when it changed to Lumpy! Charming!

My mate started calling me "feet" when I was pregnant (due to my yells of "ow ow ow foot!!")... its stuck ever since!
