So WTF am I supposed to do now!?

Recently moved dd into a crib and it seems that she likes to have her face up against the bars and her arm hanging out between the slats, this would be perfectly fine, however she's also just taken to sucking her fist for comfort when dropping off. So she battles to get both, which is never going to happen. WTF am I meant to do now? Bumpers are dangerous, she's too big for her Moses basket really and I've been trying to get her to settle for 3 hours.

We have an air wrap. It's a mesh that wraps round the bars. Dc can still breath but can't get their limbs through.

Are they safe though? I saw something on SIDS that said no bumper is safe. I suppose whilst she's still so little it's not like she's going to climb it or anything

I second the air wrap. Got one for dd after she nearly broke her arm in her cot Sad
There was no chance of her trying to get it off, and its breathable too.

Agreed, get an airwrap.

Roobix04 · 11/03/2015 22:40

They velcro on so no ties for them to get tangled in and the mesh doesn't stop airflow so no overheating or breathing problems.

She also can't climb it was it doesn't support their weight. She'll just push it harmlessly down.

How old is she? We did away with a cot altogether at 8 months and put our dd on a single mattress on the floor.

Right, I've ordered one, let's see how we get on with it! Thanks all
