Is this too much?

I visited a lovely nursery right near my house, near the station. The only drawback is it costs £65 a day for 4 days and £70 for 3 days. Am in South East London - is this a lot? This would be for a 12 month old.

I have contacted the two other closest nurseries and no-one even got back to me!

Prob the going rate. It's 40-60 up north

It sounds pretty cheap for London tbh

Cheap! It's nearly £14k a year!

Yep sounds about right!

I'm in the SW and good nurseries are around £55 a day so sounds about right for London, unfortunately!

Yes, cheap compared to here. I'm in SW London and all c. £78/82 8am to 6pm. If you want a 7:30am start it's an extra £6 a day. It's a joke tbh, but I guess I pay £10 an hour for a cleaner, so c. £6.50 an hour for childcare probably isn't madness. Nope, scrap that. It's madness.
