My baby is already obsessed with screens!

Whether its a mobile phone screen, a laptop screen, or the TV which is always on at my Mums he is transfixed. No toy can hold a candle to a colourful screen.

He's only 4 months old! Shock

In RL everyone shrugs and says big deal. But in MNLand I suspect this is A Very Bad Thing and I find myself worrying about his fascination. Though what negative effect I expect I'm not even sure - I was practically raised by the TV in the 80's and I still read a thousand books growing up.

Right now he's staring at THIS screen!

He's looking at the lights

Mines 3 months and watched most of the live streaming of crufts last week, it's just the lights and movement they like

Watching the lights. But they do get obsessed - where I spent most of early maternity leave cuddling ds and watching to by 6 months I avoided screens listened to radio whilst he played. We hide phones etc from him now as he want to see them and especially find photos of people he knows and himself Grin he's 2.5 now

At that age can you not jsut turn his chair around so he is looking at you and and you are looking at the TV, or whatever?
Thats what we did at least, and once he was too bi for that we didn't have it on during the day.

Still at 18months DS is obsessed with tryin to get my phone and turn the TV on so maybe it makes no difference either way.
