Due my third and getting scared.......

Hi, I am 8 months pregnant with my third, I currently have a 3.5 yr old and a 15 month old, all girls. my second is quite needy and a bit of a handful and it already feel like I neglect my eldest and I know this will only get harder when the baby arrives. We did want three but it came a bit earlier than expected due to messed up post feeding cycle and although we are excited to meet her I am starting to feel petrified that I won't cope. Anyone else had 3 under 4's and lived to tell the tale? Any tips would be greatly welcomed?

Thank you

Yep three under four and grandparents 2 hours away. It's hard work, but I'd do it again in a heartbeat. Middle child was a - and is - demanding. But you will cope . They are 24, 26 and 28 now so all survived ! The good thing is they will still all appreciate the same entertainment at the same time so you can all have fun as a family together. And you are out of the hours to get ready and go stage quickly ! Good luck, I am actually jealous you are at the start of it !

Only tip I can think of is put something on TV dd 2 wants to watch at feeding time then cuddle up with her at the same time as feeding the baby. I have fond memories of Sesame Street for this reason !

She isn't quite into to yet, more jumping off things, banging things and pinching her older sister!! Introduced her to night garden this week hoping she will enjoy that, luckily my last two fed quickly so I'm hoping this one is the same so she doesn't get too annoyed with me. I can imagine in 24 years time I will also look back fondly, just hope I make it with all my marbles!

I have a 15 week old, an almost 2 yr old and an almost 4 yr old. It's hard but I wouldn't change it. Middle one suffers the most and demands to be carried a lot, especially when I'm feeding no 3. Eldest gets little attention from me but tonnes from daddy so he's not neglected. It gets easier every day. The hardest thing is getting a routine for no 3, they have to slot in, especially with the nursery/school run so naps etc have been hard. Life is all about childcare but once no 3 is a couple of years old then I'm sure things will be easier as they all become more self sufficient! Good luck!
