Can anyone give me some idea as to the going rate for a babysitter. Never used one before. Ta.

£5 an hour ?

depends. if a qualified nursery nurse (say from your nursery) they usually go for £8...

otherwise i would say £6 (but the hours rounded up so ends up a bit more)
