Our 6 month old has started scratching incessantly under his chin and around his throat. It's red raw and we've been trying to sooth it with sudocrem but the itching is making him grumpy.
Is this most likely to be excess dribble getting caught in his skin folds and causing irritation? That's what we're thinking at the moment.
Is there anything else we can do other than sudocrem? We're already putting some mild steroid cream on his cheeks for eczema, and using emollient, but not on his neck...
