My dd is 6 months old and for the past week or so she hates her bottles and is hardly drinking and shes panicing me shes ok in herself happy playful but drinking stresses me she usually will drain a 220ml bottle in one go but now she pushes it out and stops after only 120ml ish yesterday she only had 740ml of her usual 980ml daily amount. Im worrying she isnt getting enough or having enough fluids she has water too but im concerned. Help

Is she unwell in any way - cold, colicky, etc?

is she having solids as well? 740mls is still nearly 25oz of milk and if she is having that alongside food then that is a good amount.

No food yet she seems happy just frustrating son did have viral tonsilitis but that was 2 weeks ago.

My dd did this around the same time I had to put her on the next size teat she was getting frustrated because she was having to work hard to get it out so just gave up and stopped drinking she was fine with the new teats

Have you introduced her to solids at all? My dd refused point blank to have milk at 7months, after various trips to hv, gp and dieticians at local hospital, was told to just use it in her food. I.e. Weetabix in the morning, yogurts, cheeses, milk in with mashed potato. Hope this helps Smile
