ds (3 next week) has been fully trained since easter during the day. no accidents all good, don't have to ask him anymore, he tells us when he needs the loo.
the day before yesterday we ran out of nappies for nighttime.
recently we've been up a lot in the night as he has had his hand down nappy and pulled penis up wrong way and as result leaked.
we've decided to bite the bullet and see if we can get him to go without nappies at night.
first night went relatively well: went to loo before bed. he was squeaking at around 11pm when we went to bed, so we went in and took him to loo (but i don't want to get into the habit of 'lifting' him). he woke up at 7am saying he needed the loo. this is about an hour earlier than he usually wakes but hey....great first night.
last night went to bed as usual at 7.30. didn't want to use the loo before bed, but had peed in the bath (uck) 15 minutes earlier. woke up at 6am this morning with wet bed...doing it woke him up. 6am is waaayyyy to early in this house, and not when he usually wakes up. he came to bed with us but fidgeted and none of us got any sleep at all. he has no nap during day so really needs his sleep at nighttime.
so....do i put him back in nappies as he's not ready? or persevere as he is actually doing really well and wearing nappy at night wasn't really working anyway cause of the 'leaking'?
about to go to shops...nappies or not???
help!
