Banana porridge - constipating?

I am feeding my 6 month old homemade banana porridge and she's abit constipated. Could this be the cause!

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

It could be. Oats/ wheat/ gluten can also bung up newly weaned babies

I would try keeping a plain regular porridge but adding Apple or pear purée instead. If after a week still the same, stop the porridge and try Greek yogurt/ eggs/ fruit for breakfast for a while before reintroducing oats/ bread slowly

Bread if your giving during the day I would stop for now also

Bananas can cause constipation.

Bananas always caused constipation in my dd, I had to eliminate them from her diet completely until she was over a year old
