We need to see a doctor today . We went 2 weeks ago and came away abit flustered as dd really doesn't like being touched by our (lovely) doctor. She's needs her chest listened to but doctor couldn't hear anything over the screaming

Bribery. I normally show them the chocolate buttons/lollipop/box of raisins in my bag before we go in. I might even let them hold the packet whilst we're in there. But we don't open it until the doctor has finished and they have behaved all the way through the visit...

Bubbles? I work on a children's ward and blowing bubbles is a very successful way to distract younger children!

Am I aloud to take bubbles into a doctors surgery

I would have thought so, some doctors rooms may already have some especially if a health visitor clinic is attached. They are allowed on the ward so can't see them not being allowed at the doctors Smile
