Contraception after second baby

I'm almost due my second and wondering what to do. The pill has always made me feel awful and I'm not sure we can use condoms forever. Between DCs 1 and 2 we either used withdrawal method or just had unprotected sex (obv!), but after this one we need to be more careful. I'm dreading it - I love having the carefree sex of pregnancy. Should I try the pill again, or what do you think? Anyone with experience of troubleshooting this?

Hormonal contraception is a nightmare for me and I'd live in fear with just condoms. So, I had a copper coil fitted as soon as was possible after DC2 was born (might have been 6 weeks, or 9 or 12, can't remember) had it replaced after it's 5 years were up and I've been nothing but happy with it. Excellent things.
