Please tell me how to use Mumsnet Local

I have a new baby and really want to meet other Mums as I feel completely isolated. Everyone keeps saying I should look at the stuff on Mumsnet local but I don't know how to do it.

Do I get a new nickname for that? Is it a completely different site? Is there a talk forum on that? Or just advertisements?

Sorry to hear you're feeling isolated - you can find your local mn by clicking up ^^ Find your local Mumsnet = add your postcode.
IF you're on Facebook - there's usually a MN xxxShire Facebook page too - that is a good way.
