Not quite out of pushchair

We go away to the coast to our family property for a few days every few months. Our dd is 2.5 and although loves walking, can't quite manage the 4/5 mile walks we do into the town centre etc. We have a big quinny buzz travel system pushchair which takes up most the boot space and seems a but much for such little use now. Would you not bother taking it and just get her to walk/piggy back/shoulders etc, or buy a cheap stroller to leave down there (if so what would you reccomend) or a toddler back carrier for when she is tired? She is out the pushchair completely when at home now so would just be for the mega long walks when away!!

if she's out of the pushchair at home altogether then why not leave the pushchair in the holiday house?

I'd get a little cheaper stroller, one that is easy to carry around if she's happy to walk.

We've recently bought a bike lock for the pushchair which helps enormously - so if we're out and about and she's happy to walk, I fold the pushchair up and lock it to a bike rack so we don't have to haul it around town.
