Anyone have hormone drip and natural birth?

Im just wondering if any of you had the hormone drip for one birth and another natural birth?

I had the hormone drip which was seriously intense and painful and im wondering how it compares to natural birth?

Yes I did, found the induced birth very painful and contractions v strong. My next labour was natural and so much less painful and intense entirely manageable on gas and air. There was a real difference

Thanks for sharing princesspond. I had my first with hormone drip and found it unbearably painful. Ive been totally put off no2 so its good to hear your experience

I had the hormone drip with DC1, followed by an epidural. With DC2 labour started without any intervention, it was a completely different birth.

DC's 3 and 4 were also induced (hormone drip) but I seemed to cope better and managed on gas and air, I wonder if it was because I sort of knew what was coming and so I was better prepared, I found it such a shock the first time around.
