Teats

Morning,

I asked on feeding but got no reply... Can anyone help?Grin

Can breast milk be expressed into sterilised bottles and stored in the fridge with teat/cap on (for 72 hours)? Or does it need to be expressed into bottle with lid and teat added on day of use?

I made up some bottles yesterday morning and refrigerated and it's occurred to me that the teat might not be sterile today.

Thank you!
LQx

the teats are fine In the fridge as long as they were sterile when you put them on the bottle

I ff and only ever used the caps if we were going out

I always kept expressed milk in an air tight container so used the bottles with the screw lids or a special breast milk bag.
I personally wouldn't make up the bottle

it will be fine. just make sure they are stored in the main part of the fridge (on any shelf) and never in the door.
