i remember on a thread a while back you said your dh was an osteopath and did not condone the use of baby walkers. i didn't anyway for safety reasons, so was considering a door bouncer or stationary activity centre thing like the leap frog one. could you possibly find out what your DH thinks about these?

Hi Nappyaddict, I will ask him as soon as he gets up (he is having a rare lie-in)

Hi NA I spoke to him briefly and he just said that basically he had a door bouncer for his eldest, she's 19 now, and it diddn't do her any harm but he wouldn't reccomend them as basically babies legs aren't supposed to have any weight resting on them until they are strong enough to pull themselves up after crawling iyswim. Putting any pressure on the legs and feet before they are ready can be harmful and it's best to let nature take it's course.

is that the same for the activity centres, you know the things that look like walkers but don't actually move anywhere.
