milk curds in baby poo

Have posted in infant feeding too.For the last few weeks, mum baby has had lots of in digested milk curds in his poo. His poo is quite funny too. today his nappy was nearly all curds and barely any poo. He is 5 months old and formula fed ( aptamil) and has been on formula since he was 6 weeks old.
Should I be worried?
Has anyone else experienced this?
Thanks for reading

Can I ask a potentially stupid question? How do you know it's undigested curds - what does it look like? I must admit I've never heard of this. Breastfed babies have a kind of seedy poo, is it like that?

If your baby seems comfortable and is gaining weight well then it's highly likely to be nothing to worry about.

It's white and squishy (i know it's grim but I touched it). It's definitely not the same as the seeds in breastmilk.

That does sound very odd, and worth just getting checked out with the GP. I'd take along a picture of a clear example of what you mean so they can see it. Hopefully they'll be able to explain what's going on or refer you.

Is it like rice grains but feel like lard if you squish it?? If so completely normal and fine . Means digestive system is doing what it should x
