Things to do with DS1 when DS2 on the sling

DS2 is almost 11 wks old and only sleeps in the sling. The days I have DS1 on my own with his I try to get out for most of the day to playgroups etc so DS1 is entertained. It's hard enough spending a lot of time on my knees with DS2 in the sling but I can deal with it.

But it's so much harder at home I feel there are no things I can do with DS1 while DS1 is in the sling.

I can just about manage to sit at the table when he's sleep so we can do painting/colouring etc and we've baked a few times but DS1 always wants me to "get down" with him and so puzzles etc on the floor which I can't do.

Any tips of things to do while standing or perched on a chair??

I spent a lot of time tramping around country parks with dd slung on my front when she was tiny. This meant ds could run around safely and then he was knackered and watched CBeebies in the afternoon! It's so much easier if you can sling on your back. Once I mastered that (dd about five months) she would sleep on my back and I could do pretty much anything with ds.
