Hi all just wanted to get some ideas for some new toys as my daughter seems to get bored with a lot of her toys quickly. The only things she always wants to play with is stacking cups and 2 triangles from a shape sorting set lol.

We got our almost 1 year old a musical instrument set which he loves (maracas, tambourine, sleigh bells and xylophone)

And he loves books. We got some interactive ones with buttons for noises, lift he flap and ones like the gruffalo and he will sit for ages and "read" them with you. Particularly the gruffalo who gets lots of kisses Smile

He also still loves his stacking cups x

Mine's just started walking so likes running round kicking a ball. Just got him a chatter phone because they always seem popular in play areas, as do the plastic ride-ons.

Mine likes the toot toot driver things. Also Duplo, he can't build anything but likes sorting through the pieces.

Another one for books too, he enjoys looking through board books and pointing certain things out

My youngest is 3 now, but both began to love duplo around this age. It's great as you can add to collection each birthday and Xmas, and it lasts ages. My almost 5 year old still loves duplo, even though they now also have small regular Lego.

Also Schleich animals ( last forever also). They were played with alone at 1 year, then gradually incorporated into duplo and wooden block play scenes, use in sandpit and garden and bath. Actually my 3 year old is currently tying his up to the computer chair for his Knights to rescue!

A piece of paper to tear up or the fire wood bucket. Bloody awful after the amount of money that was spent in Christmas presents lol!

zany zoo by B toys, my 1 year old loves it and keeps him occupied for hours! It's an activity cube that has so much to entertain him. You can get it on amazon.

Wheelybug mouse and books. She also loves balloons, and moving piles of clean washing about (the little weirdo!)

Thanks for all your ideas, she has toot toot drivers, prefers to throw them rather than push them. I thought id get her a discovery done to encourage her to stand... It's the only thing she doesn't pull herself up on! Lol
