Am I the only one having difficulty coping with a teenage son who has got the madness?
since he became 16, I have had drugs, theft, sex, violence, bad language and running away. All in the space of 9 months. what has happened???? I can't seem to find real hands on practical advice that guides and helps. I see lots of " talk to him" or "it's just teenager stuff" but I need real guidance. I need to be able to talk to someone and know how I can maneouver through these waters. He is NOT cooperative so please don't tell me to talk to him. He just lies and blames me . Please someone out there with experience and practical advice. I need to know stuff like where do I stand financially and what time limits do I have and how can I give him the wake up call.

I sympathise, teenage boys can be very hard work.

Could you perhaps try re-posting this in the Teenagers topic, as you will get much more support & advice there.
