Not feeding well after D&V has subsided?

Our EBF 4.5 month old seems to be improving after his first bout of D&V, last vomit was 6pm yesterday.

But his feeding is not returning to normal, and of course we are desperately worried about dehydration. He had some OK feeds overnight, but this morning is less interested every time he's put to the breast. He's had one decent feed at 8am but since then has just had half-hearted little suckles.

Is this normal? Should we be worrying yet?
He seems OK in himself a little tired perhaps, but alert, happy and making noises and playing, and none of the signs of dehydration so far....

I find it can take a day or two for my appetite and energy levels to return after that sort of thing, so I wouldn't worry yet. Check you have some rehydration salts if it continues.

Many thanks, what you say makes perfect sense. Obviously really. We will keep an eye on him!
