Hi, am retaking a module from my masters due to failing the assignment twice. I have passed everything else on the course including my finals but have to successfully pass this module in order to qualify. If I fail it I fail everything and no more chances.
I have a 4000 word case study assignment due in thurs. I have written most of it but am panicking that it is just not good enough. The last one I wrote I was so sure it was good and yet I failed. I seem to somehow miss the point and comments are that despite my assignment being good I have not answered the brief properly.

I have asked for all advice I can from tutor specific to the brief but has anyone any tips or advice on writing at masters level and passing assignments? For example I need to support my ideas with peer reviewed evidence but there is very little on some of the subjects. Can I cite anecdotal evidence or just reference books rather than journals?
They have never been my strong point. I simply cannot afford to cock this up. Anything anyone can advise much appreciated x

I realise this is past your Thursday deadline. Hope you passed. The bulk of your references must be from peer-reviewed journals. Your library should be able to help you search if you're unsure.

Keep going back to your tutor to check that you are on the right track and keep checking what you've written against the essay guidance. For better marks you need to critically appraise the articles you have read eg author said X but the conclusion is limited as the sample size was small.

Also use the Manchester phrasebank for wording.
