We waited until about 6/7 months then talked about the fact there was a baby in mummy's tummy.

There's a house in mummy's tummy worked well as did some other books from the library about new babies.

Congratulations

We waited to 5 months then told her with much "we have some really exciting news" etc.

Her response? "Where's my balloon?"

Confused Grin

When I was about 6 months pg we went to see a friend who had a baby and asked DD "Shall we get a baby?"

Happily she said yes. We brought him home yesterday Grin

My just 3 year old heard us talking about it & told his nursery worker "mummy has a baby in her tummy". Remember they listen when you think they're ignoring you!
