aldi size 3 nappies

Hi all
Just wondering if anyone has had issues with the size 3 nappies? Size 1 & 2 seem to be really good but ds is over 12lb now so moved him up to size 3 and every poo leaks and goes everywhere!
Never had this issue with the other sizes, not sure if its the nappies or hes just a bit too skinny for the size 3's yet
Anyone had any similar issues?

No issues here. DS is still in them (13 months old & 24 lb). Perhaps keep using size 2s?

No issues at all. Dd has been in aldi size 3 for a year (long long story) and was about 10lbs at the start-now 16lbs. Never leaked....until last night! But only wee

I think it's less about weight and more about fit. Are they gaping at back or at legs?

Not very helpful but if anything we had the opposite! Size 2s kept leaking but the 3s seemed to have solved it. Maybe you're right and he's better off sticking with 2s for a bit longer.

No advice about size 3 other than DD was in aldi nappies from being weeks old but recently at size 5 we have stopped buying them.

They are thinner and a bit floppy to the feel. She is past runny poo but wee she have an even slightly loose one there is no way they would hold.

There was a thread about it on here a few months ago where it seemed there might be different batches as others were fine.

Personally, I tried size 4.5 and size 5 and all were the same so aldi no more for us

My DS is tall and skinny for his age, and the aldi nappies leaked a bit when I first tried to move him up to size 3s. I also wasnt putting them on tight enough, so they were slipping down then leaking. We went back to using size 2s for a while even though DS was above the weight range (because in found a couple of packs of them stashed under the bed and forgotten), and they fitted much better. I still used size 3s at night tho so he didn't need to be changed- I don't know if its different materials or just the bigger size why the size 3s and above say 12 hours dryness on them and the size 1&2s don't?

How big is he? My dd has been in aldi 3s from about 4 weeks (11 lb) and initially leaked almost every poo. 3 months old now (probably about 14lb) and there have been no leaks in the last few weeks

Hes 11 weeks old and 13lbs but hes quite long and skinny, the size 2's seem right on the edge of still fitting him but no leaks despite some pretty massive poos whereas every one in the size 3 required a full outfit change
Ill keep him in the 2's for now and see how we go
Dh is freaking out because he bought tons of the size 3's in the last baby event
