Ikea toddler beds

I have been looking at the website for about half an hour and can't work this out so thought I'd ask for help. It's time for 2 year old DS to go into a bed and they have good ones at ikea it seems. However I can't seem to find any bedding that fits. They have quilts for a cot then for a bigger single bed but none that fit the toddler beds. Can anyone help? They are a weird size so wouldn't buy bed from there if couldn't also get bedding.

Hmm - when we had our toddler bed from IKEA they did a toddler quilt and covers. That was about 10-12 years ago though!

EBay sell fitted sheets to fit IKEA mattresses. I bought single bed duvets and duvet covers for my twins toddler beds, less chance of them losing the duvet at night.

I read John Lewis stock the same size & possibly Dunelm.

They sell fitted sheets for the toddler beds.
We just used an ordinary single quilt cover and tucked it under at the bottom.

The bed sheets might not be listed on the website as not everything they sell is.

IKEA sell the fitted sheets for their toddler beds, but not duvets or duvet covers.

John Lewis sell the duvets (I think we paid £25 a couple of months ago) and we bought the duvet covers from Asda for £9, they've got some lovely designs.

Have you thought of getting a single instead of a toddler bed. We bought DS who is 2.6 a single bed and mattress with a waterproof top sheet built in and he has been fine in it. Plenty of choice for bedding i.e Fireman Sam and Thomas TTE.

We got the sheets from ikea when we bought the bed, then had a single duvet tucked in at the bottom. That way you have a lot more choice of duvets and covers.

amazon sell toddler duvets etc but the fitted sheets you can only get in ikea but I find their website a pain in the butt so tend to just go onto the local store

The beds are really good by the way - still big enough to hold a 5/6 yo but small enough to fit in a little room or store under another bed if not needed every day

We just bought a normal single bed- a low one- toddler beds just seem like a waste of money.

I just bought a normal single when I moved my ds into a bed, he was only 13 months but was climbing out his cot.
We got a duken (sp?) from ikea and a little step stool initially. He's 16months now and can climb in and out it now without a stool.
I did buy 2 ikea bed guards and put them on top of each other to stop him rolling out, and made a cover for them.

Never buy IKEA beds - toddler or adult. They're deliberately sized to chain you into buying only their brand of bedding forevermore. Argos actually have a great range of inexpensive toddler beds, all in standard sizes so you can get the bedding from anywhere.

But the toddler beds aren't designed to chain you into buying ikea bedding, as ones don't sell it!

Toddler beds from ikea are the same size for toddler bed duvets as any shop.

Sheets from next and duvet and duvet cover from Argos on ds's single, fits fine on an ikea single fine.
I do have a toddler duvet from ikea that fitted an asda duvet cover as well.

agree, fitted sheets for the bed and full size bedding.

Ikea also sell standard sized beds too, I like the Ikea doubles for my sons as they are longer than standard which they need - I can use a standard fitted King on it but it's not great so I just buy IKEA sheets (£7 a pop so not exactly expensive) and get normal duvets and duvet covers.
