If you've tried both, which did you find to be most effective for wind/griping pain?

Dentinox is a teething gel Grin. Did you mean colief?!

Bellyrub1980 · 19/12/2014 07:19

I'm sure my health visitor said it could be used for colic too? Maybe I've got the name wrong...

There are dentinox colic drops as well. We found infacol more helpful for DD, but neither made any difference to our DS!

Found infacol better as you have to give a. Few drops, dentinox is a huge bloody syringe full and made DS smell like a Wally! (Gerkin to non Essex folk)

Bellyrub1980 · 20/12/2014 09:20

Charing, just tried the dentinox and what a bloody palava!! Sticky gherkin flavoured goo all over her face, hands and my boobs! But a huge burp and calm baby.

Mmm.... Not sure the mess is worth it

And now I have to wash the syringe??!

Ah bellyrub I feel you pain - am sitting here with sticky calpolly boobs!
A burp is good though - are you at the stage where you applaud all burps and farts? Wind is horrid but it does pass!

IShallCallYouSquishy · 20/12/2014 18:18

Gripe water was brilliant for my DS. Infacol did nothing. Can only be used over a month old though is don't know how old your DC is.

Bellyrub1980 · 21/12/2014 05:48

Yes every burp is celebrated and makes me soooo happy!!

I might try gripe water next then :)

Dentinox works well for us as ds is ebf. He actually seems to like the taste and we normally get a bit of wind straight away
