What to I do now?

On Day 4 of potty training - he goes quite happily on the potty wees and poos, if I make him sit him on it, but rarely asks for it, and if I ask him he always says no.

What's the next stage? Do I just carry on as we are going and hope he eventually starts asking? If I fail to get him on the potty in time we of course have accidents and I can't stay in much longer....

All any advice appreciated. He is 2.2...

Just keep doing what you're doing although 2.2 is quite young and it may take you a long time. Took my 2.5 a good month but now he's dry day and night. He eventually relised that he didn't like having accidents. Also we stayed in for a full week. Good luck.

My ds was just over 3 when we started but we didn't bother with potty - used a toilet seat with handles and never looked back. He is now 3 1/2 and also trained for night time. Keep going and don't lose hope, you will get there!
