Wont poo on loo?

My little 2yrs and 10 mths son will wee on loo but he will not poo on it! He insists on pooing in his nappy and has to go in another room to do it. I have tried bribery and talking and coaxing - any other ideas?

I think my DS had performance anxiety and prefered to poo alone too. He would often poo after lunch when he was playing in his room alone so I put him in there with no pants and a potty in the hope he'd use it, and he did. Might be worth a try?
