High chair/booster seat

My DC is nearly six months, so will be moving on to a high chair soon.

We had a "traditional" one for our previous child, but it took up lots of space and she couldn't get right up close to the table.

Does anyone have any recommendations of a sort of high chair that fits on a normal chair and doesn't have a fixed tray on front.

I bought a chicco booster that has a removable tray so you can choose. The issue with no tray at first is that a lot of food gets dropped off the table on the way to the mouth whereas a tray usually goes around the body and less gets dropped.

We have the mamas & papas baby bud for ds, who is 7months www.mamasandpapas.com/range/baby-bud/8324/
Really happy with it. It's easy to clean, easy to store, and great to put in the car for Xmas dinner at the in laws. I bought it half price from boots a month or two ago, so worth keeping an eye in case it goes in January sales anywhere
