Flying with a 16 month and 6 week old

I don't know where to post this so I'm asking here.

Can anyone give me tips and advice of flying with a 16 month and 6 week old..
It will be long flight. From Canada to Germany...

Lots of things to amuse the 16 month old, snacks, changes of clothes and an ipad or something the can watch a DVD on.

Also don't feel embarrassed if they cry or scream. We had a horrendous landing with three of ours a couple of years ago where they all screamed for half an hour. When we finally landed about five people around us said how awful for you we've all been there when I apologised for the screaming they were all so kind and not at all bothered.

Also wine
