So DS, 2.9, has always struggled with having a poo. He is not constipated in the sense that his poos are healthy but he just cannot for some reason do them without a lot of fuss and distress. He is on moviolas after lactic ode failed to help

Anyway he can't just go for a Poo never has done always takes about a day of unsettled behaviour, lots of jumping about and running around. He is in pants but was the same in nappies. More often than not he makes it to the toilet but not always. He is just so uncomfortable before and then cried whilst passing one it's horrible to see! Anyone got any suggestions for how something else we can try to improve things?! Doctors and health visitors have thus far not been very useful just prescribing laxatives which aren't really helpful as his poo isn't hard or anything like that
