Kids excuses for not sleeping

DSS who's almost 5 was falling asleep watching a DVD with his dad about 8:30 - he normally goes to bed at half 7 but they for back late this evening. He went to bed around 8:45 and has been up and down since.
We've had: I'm not tired as he yawns and rubs his eyes
My feet keep coming out of the covers (as he shoves his leg as far out of his bed as poss)
I need a wee (again!)
I can't get comfy

Think that's it so far. Makes me laugh sometimes though some of the excuses they come up with. He seems to have become incredibly excitable out of nowhere.

Any funny ones people have had?

Bless him.

I got called back upstairs tonight because teddy had taken the covers off him.

It's usually to tell me something important, but then he can never think of anything to say.

Yes, DS tends to have something important to say that he can't then think of.

DD had itchy teeth on occasion.

Last night: I need a poo, I fell out of bed, there's a bumble bee on me.

None of which were true.
