Please stop picking your nose!

DS (2.6) has permanently got one finger up his nose. As well as eating the contents which is grim enough, he's now made it red and sore and as soon as we ask him to take his finger out, he puts it straight back in. Does anyone have any tips for getting him to stop? Or is it just one of the many things we are stuck with for a while?

Nope, you're stuck with it for a while (ds is 4 and still does this). I usually just remark that he won't find any gold up there and leave it at that. There are enough other, more important, battles to fight!
